Women's right to vote
Read this text. Did you expect New Zealand to be the first country in the world that allowed women's right to vote? What is your opinion about this fact?
On 19 september 1893 the governor, Lord Glasgow, signed a new Electoral Act into law. As a result, New Zealand became the first self-governing country in the world in which all women had the right to vote in parliamentary elections.
In most other democracies women did not win the right to vote until after the First World War.

Yes, I did. I think that New Zealand was the first brave country which accept the equality with women and man, and the other countries had have to changed this laws at the same time that New Zealand, not until after the First World War.
